$15K Secured for South Asian and Muslim Civic Engagement Infrastructure
This award moves APNA beyond one-time voter engagement activities and toward a more permanent community civic infrastructure. REMAP creates another entry point for those same communities to understand government, participate in elections, and exercise greater influence over decisions affecting their neighborhoods. It also strengthens APNA's ability to engage communities that are frequently missed because of language barriers, immigration experiences, limited institutional trust, or lack of culturally responsive voter outreach. This win demonstrates DTC's ability to help community-based organizations turn their existing relationships into organized civic power. The larger opportunity is helping APNA build the systems, staffing, data infrastructure, multilingual outreach capacity, and partnerships necessary to become a stronger long-term civic engagement institution. This builds on DTC's broader work with APNA across participatory budgeting, government relations, grants, coalition management, community outreach, and public-sector funding.
