Building the Digital Home for an Artist First Creative Ecosystem
Dare to Change developed DearCo’s website as the digital foundation for an emerging nonprofit focused on helping artists build community, strengthen their craft, access opportunities, and grow within a more supportive creative ecosystem.
DTC worked with DearCo as the organization evolved from an event based creative collective into a more structured artist centered nonprofit serving emerging, amateur, immigrant, working class, and culturally underserved creatives. The website was developed to clearly communicate that broader identity, positioning DearCo not simply as an event producer, but as a community infrastructure organization helping artists find belonging, visibility, professional development, wellness support, relationships, and pathways to sustainable creative participation.
The website brings together DearCo’s mission, organizational identity, programs, and opportunities for engagement within one cohesive digital experience. DTC structured the platform around DearCo’s work across artist gatherings and performances, workshops and mentorship, professional development, networking, wellness programming, community care, cultural engagement, and creative opportunities, while creating clearer pathways for artists, partners, supporters, venues, and community members to become involved.
More broadly, the website became part of the larger organizational infrastructure DTC helped build for DearCo. By connecting brand development, mission and values, program architecture, organizational strategy, messaging, and website development, DTC helped create a public facing platform that reflects DearCo’s transition into a more formal institution and provides a foundation for future programming, fundraising, partnerships, artist engagement, and long term growth.
