$35K Secured Through NYC’s Competitive Procurement in 2 Years
One of the most significant outcomes of DTC’s engagement came in FY2025, when City Mission successfully secured a position within a competitive New York City procurement process and received an initial $5,000 public-funding award. While modest in dollar value, the award represented an important institutional milestone: City Mission had successfully entered a formal mechanism through which New York City could fund its programs and services.
That position strengthened in FY2026, when City Mission secured a $5,000 renewal of its original funding alongside an additional $25,000 award, bringing FY2026 public funding to $30,000 and cumulative funding across the two fiscal years to $35,000. The progression demonstrated City Mission’s ability not only to enter the public-funding system, but to maintain its position and attract additional investment.
DTC’s work helped connect government positioning, program development, procurement entry, funding requests, and institutional readiness into a longer-term public-sector growth strategy. The result was more than $35,000 in funding: City Mission established a continuing foothold within New York City’s procurement infrastructure, creating a stronger foundation for future government contracting, renewals, and expanded public investment.
