$10K Secured to Expand GLOW’s NYC Operating Resources
During Fiscal Year 2025, DTC supported GLOW in expanding its public-funding base through a targeted New York City grant-development strategy. DTC managed the application process from preparation through submission, translating GLOW’s programs, community role, and organizational needs into competitive funding requests designed to strengthen its access to City resources.
The effort resulted in $10,000 in additional annual funding, increasing the resources available beyond GLOW’s existing operating funds. For a community-based nonprofit, this type of added support can strengthen program continuity, administrative capacity, and the organization’s ability to respond to emerging community needs.
Beyond the individual award, the engagement helped GLOW deepen its participation in New York City’s nonprofit funding ecosystem. By strengthening both its grant applications and broader funding strategy, DTC helped expand GLOW’s public-resource base while building a stronger foundation for future funding opportunities.
