Building the Digital Foundation for Culturally Responsive Developmental Health
Dare to Change developed the Sambran Foundation’s website as the digital foundation for an emerging nonprofit focused on developmental health, autism and developmental disabilities, caregiver support, and culturally responsive services for AAPI, immigrant, and underserved families.
DTC worked with the Sambran Foundation to create a website that clearly communicated its mission, programs, and institutional identity. Sambran’s work centers on strengthening support systems for children and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism, while also addressing the needs of parents, caregivers, and families who may face cultural stigma, limited access to culturally competent resources, and gaps in long term support. The website was structured to present Sambran not simply as a service provider, but as an organization building a broader ecosystem around developmental health, family stability, caregiver support, inclusion, and belonging.
The platform was designed to organize and communicate Sambran’s growing body of work, including initiatives focused on caregiver support, lifelong developmental pathways, culturally grounded education, family leadership, community programming, advocacy, and social connection. DTC also built the site to support future growth, giving Sambran space to communicate direct services, educational and social programming, partnerships, resources, organizational impact, and its longer term vision of expanding its work beyond the United States, including future engagement in the Philippines.
More broadly, the website was part of DTC’s larger effort to help Sambran build a credible institution from the ground up. By connecting organizational strategy, program architecture, brand identity, messaging, and website development, DTC created a digital platform that gives families, funders, partners, and community stakeholders a clearer understanding of what Sambran is building and provides the organization with infrastructure it can continue expanding as its programs, partnerships, and geographic reach grow.
