Developed National Civic Engagement Action Plan
DTC developed the AAGLO Action Plan, moving the engagement from research and recommendations into organizational implementation. The plan established seven areas for action spanning civic leadership infrastructure, voter engagement, leadership pipelines, external partnerships, organizational compliance, national rollout, and digital communications.
The framework translated those priorities into practical organizational mechanisms, including designated civic-engagement leadership roles, member education and training, public-service pathways, partnerships with outside organizations, national coordination structures, digital communications, and a phased implementation timeline. It also addressed differences in organizational structure and nonprofit status so participating organizations could consider how civic programming fit within their own institutional requirements.
The result was a roadmap that answered a question the research report alone could not: what does implementation actually look like? By connecting research findings with organizational structures and execution strategies, DTC helped create a pathway for NAPA organizations to translate national data into programs, leadership development, and sustained institutional activity.
