Community Research Marketing Campaign
DTC is developing a research communications and social media rollout strategy designed to make the Safe, Seen & Strong findings accessible to the communities represented in the research, while also reaching funders, partners, policymakers, and other external stakeholders. Rather than allowing the research to remain confined to a long-form report, DTC is identifying the findings, community experiences, organizational responses, and policy recommendations that should be elevated through public-facing communications.
The strategy combines messaging, storytelling, graphic design, and data communication to translate technical research into clear and engaging content without losing the integrity of the underlying findings. Content is being structured around major themes such as what the community reported, what patterns emerged, how Homecrest can respond internally, where programs and infrastructure may need to change, and which challenges require broader institutional or policy action.
The result is a communications model that allows one research initiative to generate an ongoing public campaign rather than a single report launch. DTC is helping Homecrest turn the Safe, Seen & Strong research into infrastructure for community education, organizational accountability, fundraising, advocacy, government relations, stakeholder engagement, and public storytelling - extending the value of the research far beyond publication.
