Building the Leadership Behind Sambran’s Growth

DTC supported the development of Sambran’s governance infrastructure by establishing frameworks around Board structure, leadership responsibilities, committee development, bylaws, governance policies, advisory structures, compliance, ethical standards, and organizational accountability. The objective was to ensure that growth in programs and partnerships would be matched by stronger internal oversight and decision making.
The engagement also helped clarify how responsibility should be distributed across the Board, organizational leadership, committees, and potential advisors. This created a more intentional structure for governing the organization, monitoring institutional priorities, maintaining accountability, and supporting future strategic decisions.
By developing governance infrastructure early in Sambran’s growth, DTC helped create a stronger foundation for fundraising, partnerships, program expansion, compliance, Board oversight, and long term institutional credibility. The result was not simply a set of governance documents, but a framework for ensuring that Sambran’s internal capacity could grow alongside its mission and ambitions.
