Lead APNA’s Public Relations, Press & Rapid Response Communications Capacity

DTC develops and supports press releases, public statements, media messaging, partnership announcements, program announcements, organizational milestones, newsletters, leadership communications, and story development. The work helps APNA build a stronger external narrative around its programs, growth, partnerships, public funding, community impact, and role as a trusted service provider across the communities it serves.

DTC also drafts government testimony, advocacy statements, briefing language, and other public facing materials that allow APNA to communicate its perspective on community needs, policy issues, and institutional priorities. These materials help translate APNA’s frontline experience into clear communications for elected officials, government agencies, press, partners, and the broader public.

Rapid response is another important part of the engagement. When emergencies, policy developments, community events, organizational changes, or other time sensitive situations require immediate communication, DTC helps move quickly from issue identification to organizational response, messaging, design or digital content, and public distribution. This gives APNA communications capacity that can respond to changing conditions in real time rather than relying only on preplanned campaigns.
